Passport
A copy of your passport. This passport must:
- Be valid for at least six months upon arrival
- Have at least two blank facing visa pages
- Be free of covers
Photograph
You must provide a photograph. Upload your photo and we will print it to the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow https://cibtvisas.be/photo-service to upload your photo.
Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against a white background and printed on high quality photo paper; be 35mm by 45mm in size; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear no headwear except for religious purposes. Your photograph should not be affixed to your application and may not display evidence of adhesive or staples.
Letter of Introduction
You must provide a Letter of Introduction from the applicant's Belgian employer. Be certain your letter meets the specific requirements of the consulate by using our Digital Introduction Letter service. Visit https://cibtvisas.be/bcl-order to get started.
Alternatively, please use the sample Letter of Introduction provided here and use the exact language and format provided in order to prevent a rejection and possible delays with your visa request.
All Letters of Introduction must be addressed to the Embassy. The address of the Embassy can be found hereLetter of Invitation
A letter of invitation from the company to be visited. This letter must:
- Be on company letterhead paper
- Include the name of the applicant
- Include the passport details of the applicant
- Specify the purpose of journey
- Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
- State the location of the visiting company
- Be stamped and signed
- Include a copy of the Ghanaian ID card of the inviter or passport and residence permit if the inviter is not Ghanaian
Proof of Travel Arrangements
The following documents must be provided:
- A copy of your flight itinerary or your e-ticket
- A hotel confirmation
Yellow Fever Certificate
A copy of the applicant's yellow fever certificate booklet.
Proof of Vaccination
A copy of a vaccination certificate. This certificate must:
- State the name of the applicant
- Include the date of vaccination
- State the type of COVID-19 vaccine administered
Visa Application Form
One completed and signed application form is required. The form must:
- Be typewritten and signed in the original
- Have "Cash (counter)" selected as payment method
- Specifically mention two references in Ghana with their complete addresses and phone numbers
- Filled on the consulate's website: https://brussels.mfa.gov.gh/. Click on the "Consular Section" tab and then on "Visa Application" to access the form.
CIBTvisas Order Form
Alternatively CIBTvisas can assist the traveller in completing the online application form as a Premium Service at a cost of €25.00. In order to facilitate this, please complete the CIBTvisas Ghana Document Preparation Request which can found in the CIBTvisas Application Pack.
Online application document preparation requests must be received at CIBTvisas before 15:00 hours in order to have it returned to you that day. Once CIBTvisas have completed your online application it will be sent to you for your signature. An original signature is required so it is mandatory to return the form to us by post or courier once signed.

Proof of Financial Means
A copy of the applicant's recent bank statement in their name.
Proof of Travel Arrangements
