When is the best time to apply for my visa?
The best time to apply for your visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, for some countries we may be able to process your visa in as little as 1 business day. For example, if you overnight your application to us on Monday, you can have it back in your hand on Wednesday with our same-day rush service.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Iran visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Iran visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application by a secure method, such as a guaranteed postal service or courier.

  1. Personal Application

    The Embassy requires applicants to apply for a visa in person. CIBTvisas is unable to assist in this instance. Please contact the Embassy for further information:

  1. Passport

    The applicant's passport must:

    • Be valid for six months beyond entry date
    • Have at least two blank visa pages
    • Be free of covers
    • Be free of any entry or exit stamps from Israël. Please contact CIBTvisas for advice if the passport contains Israëli stamps

  2. Proof of Residency

    Proof that you live in Belgium or Luxembourg, this must be provided as:

    • A of a copy of both sides of the applicant's ID card.

    or

    • A copy of the applicant's residence permit

  3. Photograph

  4. Proof of Approval

    Evidence of proof of approval. The approval must:

    • Be provided as a copy of the visa reference number obtained by the inviting party in Iran
    • Be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and include the issuing date
    • Be transmitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and confirmed received by the Embassy in Brussels prior to submission

    Alternatively CIBTvisas can obtain the visa reference number required on your behalf     via the Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Simply complete the Iran Invitation Order form, located in the application pack
